Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Make sure you plan your wedding at least 6 months in advance. Your officiant should be at least one of the first people you hire for your wedding. After all, it is pretty difficult to have a wedding without someone to officiate it!!
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. How long the minister has been involved in the ministry and about how many weddings he/she has performed.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. How many years experience does he/she have?? Do they come across in a professional manner; looks, character, language??
Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?
A. They should be sure they are getting married for "the rest of their lives". Marriage is the second most important decision a person will ever make. The first important decision is to be born again of God.
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. We try to treat people like people, not numbers!! We believe in the "golden rule" of the Bible: "Do unto others as you would have them do unto you."
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. I like people. People are the reason for any minister to be in the ministry. It is all about people, not numbers, not money, but people!!
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. The question most customers ask, I guess, would be "what is your fee ad what does it include?" I answer by quoting my fee and listing everything it includes. I like giving details so my customers are "never in the dark."
Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?
A. Yes, I am always looking for ways to make my wedding officiating business stand out from others. I am constantly looking for new ceremony material.
Q. What is your greatest strength?
A. My greatest strength I guess would be talk. I love to talk. I guess you could say, I have the gift of "gab", lol!!
Q. What are you currently working on improving?
A. I am working on new sample ceremonies so that my potential clients have a wider variety of material to choose from.
Q. Write your own question and answer it.
A. What is the order of my priorities? God is always first, my wife second, family third, and ministry and others last. That is the only way to have real joy and fulfillment in life!!
