Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. When hiring a professional organizer it is important to find a provider whose values are in line with what you are trying to achieve. To ensure a good fit, outline your highest priorities for accomplishment and make sure that the service provider is able to help you accomplish your goals. You may want to reduce clutter, but it is important to keep certain items, if your organizer just wants to throw everything away, she is not what you are looking for, so keep interviewing.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I wish that my customers understood that I am not going to make them get rid of the things they love, but rather help them to store, display or use their possessions.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I have spent many years developing an understanding of how personalities types relate to the world. Because of this, I am able to develop organizational systems that are tailor made to suit a specific personality type. I strive to not only produce and organized environment, but to also help individuals develop understand how to stay organized and recognize the triggers that may throw them off track.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. That when I complete a job my customers love me.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I help a retired school teacher find good homes for her valued teaching aids and supplies, while helping her look forward to anew purpose in life.
