FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
My base price includes a pre-shoot consultation, a specified block of photography time either at my studio or a location of your choosing, unlimited shots during the photo session, as well as private access to a password-protected secure online proofing gallery where all final images will be uploaded on completion. The final images are the ones that make the cut during my post-production process. After our photoshoot, I carefully curate and edit the best of all the images that I've captured so that the collection of final images that I present to you is visually and technically as strong as possible.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
My goal before the shoot is to learn as much as I can about your hopes and goals for the photos. Your project description tells me what you're looking for and then we might also talk on the phone or exchange texts or emails. If there's anything I want people to know, it's that they can just relax and be themselves and I'll take care of making them look their best in the photos. Having a lens pointed at you can be intimidating if you're not used to it. Getting comfortable in front of the camera is usually a process that we work through together. My goal is always to deliver an end result that you will love.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I feel so blessed with the training and experience I've had. Right from the very start I was shooting for clients, doing weddings and portraits and music photography. That led to work for local studios where I learned hands-on from other more experienced pros. Early in my career I also took some photography courses at Milwaukee Area Technical College. Then I was accepted into an internationally-acclaimed photography program that gave me the opportunity to work with some of the world's biggest names in photography as well as to travel and do photography in locations around the world. I completed the program and then even went back to staff it one year before getting back into being a pro photographer full time.
