A. In my profession, the biggest misunderstanding is that we are just grease monkeys and we will be able to magically fix that car through the phone. But we have to have a lot of outside of the box thinking and be trained to use multiple computer systems, understanding the computer in the vehicle and how it communicates to other modules and sensors in the vehicle. Chances are we have to multitask everything we do. Most important thing, there is a good chance you are not the only person with a car problem today, but chances are, your problem is unique to you today and that makes you unique to us. They are usually taught by life experiences and trial and error.
