FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
A creative fee ("session fee") covers Teri's time at the session, then portraits and other products are purchased separately.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Our relationship starts with a conversation. Many clients are referred by friends, so they have seen my work first hand, so a phone call is a great first step. If you haven't seen my work in person, you are invited to the studio for a consultation. We plan the perfect session, from outfits and locations on our ten acre backlot, to the final product you will hang in your home. After the session, you return to the studio in 7-10 days to review the images and place your order. Depending on which products you select, final delivery of your portraits is between 3-6 weeks.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Teri Mason is a Certified Professional Photographer, through the Professional Photographers of America. A background in art, as an art teacher for 12 years, provides a solid foundation of design for your portraits. Additionally, Teri expands her knowledge and stretches her creativity by attending classes and workshops all over the world, annually. Teri Mason Photography has been voted "Best of Georgetown" for the past 5 years (since the first time photographers were included). Her work has been featured by ModernSenior, Senior Style Guide and Senior Inspire websites, as well as the Bump magazine, Austin Pregnancy Magazine, and others.
