PJ has to be one of the best out there for hair extensions! He has done my hair for years and it always looks fantastic! I highly recommend him to anyone who wants beautiful long sexy hair with out the cost being outrageous! You will love his work!

PJ is amazing!!! I fried my hair with an at home dye job and had to cut off several inches. PJ put in extensions and now my hair is halfway down my back. It looks so good. He matched my color perfectly. You honestly can't tell where my hair stops and the extensions start. If you want extensions PJ is the man you need to see. His prices are really reasonable, and he is super fast.

Let me begin by saying P.J is amazing! I've had my extensions in since the beginning of February and they still look beautiful and I get so many compliments on how natural it looks. P.J is very professional and really listens to what "you" want. If you're thinking about getting fusion, P.J is your #1 choice for expertise and price. You will love them, in fact (like me) you'll be addicted!!!

PJ was very professional, he made the process fun and easy. I was worried at first because I had never had extensions before, but he relieved the stress and worry about the whole thing. PJ was very quick and inexpensive. I would reccommend him to anyone and everyone looking for extensions. He's AMAZING!!

I found P J Emerson by googling professional fusion salons and he was the first one to come up. I knew from the moment that I spoke with him that this was going to be the best experience and the pricing was very reasonable as well. I typically keep micro braids in my hair so, as anyone would be, I was so nervous to try something new. From the moment I arrived at the salon P J was the most welcoming hairdresser I had ever come across. The best thing is that my freaking hair is the bomb!!! My husband loves it as much, if not more than I do. The style is very appropriate and proportional to my facial structure. The hair is very flexible; I can wear it up or down and the best part is that you cannot even tell that they are extensions. The style is also very surable because I cannot keep my hands out of my hair. Much props for both P J's skill and his professionalism. I will be seeing him again in a few months!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Fixing the "Swing Bob" or "Bob" haircut.

Second most common situation would be adding length and volume to a head of a client that is past the child bearing years. As you get older, your hair just doesn't grow, show and glow as it did in earlier years of age.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Ask questions and request referrals.

I have hundreds of happy and returning clients all of which pay me the highest professional compliment by referring their friends, family and co-workers.

In addition, find out if they just install extensions and are an extensionist by trade. If they offer extensions in addition to being a stylist, beware.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Micro-Link Fusion Technology requires tremendous hand strength and steady nerves. Being that I am male, I have a natural advantage over women in the same field because of their smaller and weaker hands.

Women extensionists tend to point their clients away from the Cold Fusion and towards a Glue In Fusion Method, which will play havoc with your hair, including, causing tangled messes, breakage of your hair and scalp irritation.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Whether it's a hack job of a hair cut, shielding or protecting damaged hair or adding length and volume for their work, social life or a special occasion, I enjoy assisting a client in their beautification process. Over the years I've gained friendships with lady's that will last a lifetime by talking, chit chatting and bonding during the 3 hr installation process, which, as a side effect, makes the time fly by.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. What's the cost??

$350 - Includes: 12" Remy Human Hair, Micro-Links and Labor
$400 - 16"

$450 - 20"

How long does it take?

3 hrs start to finish

Can I come by for a consultation?

I've been doing this for so long, if you will text me a pic, you will save the money by setting up a consultation. I can do a consultation over the phone.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Installing Hair Extensions is a totally and separate skill from cutting or styling hair. All I do is install Cold Fusion Micro-Link Extensions. Beware of stylists that state that they can install extensions.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. No. I've been a professional in the field for over 10 years and because I've seen and worked with every type of color, texture and length, no continuing education is needed. All I do is install extensions. No cutting hair, coloring it, washing it, drying it or styling it here......
