Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. The biggest misconception about painting walls with any openings, is that, it should cost less because of "less wall", when in fact; it is harder and takes up more time to prepare & paint walls with windows or doors. These areas require more attention to detail, cuts and precision painting.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Gurrola Affordable Painting prides itself with quality workmanship. We take time to prepare our work area and we make sure to leave it, as it was, before we got there. We treat your home with respect and work extra hard to make you, our customer, happy. We never ask for money upfront and only get paid when you are 100% satisfied.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. The best part of our job is seeing the customers face when the project has been finished and the room has been transformed. We have never had a dissatisfied customer and will continue to work hard to keep this honor. The ooo's and aaaa's are like music to our ears.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Most customers have an ideas of what they want, but commonly we get asked about color schemes and finishes. We always recommend an eggshell finish for common rooms and flat finishes for bedrooms. Oil-based paints are only recommended for trim work, doors and/or bathroom cabinets.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Every project has drawn us closer to our customers. Every project has a story and we are grateful for every person we have come in contact with, regardless of the lenght of the project or the estimate.
