I traded my services for an old 8088 XT IBM PC to one of my customers seeking a business plan. I purchased a book in the back of a magazine that was suppose to show me how to assemble a computer. I tested it on the computer I took for trade. I completely disassembled the computer and begin to follow the instructions on how to reassemble it. When I reached the end of the book, I still had parts on the table. I had to figure out the rest on my own. I got hooked and repeated the process until I became an expert in computer assembly. The rest is history.
