Mr Rosenstiel is an excellent instructor for photography. I have learned how to use my DSL camera in 4 sessions, and now I know what every button on it means. I also understand how to get the photographic results that I desire, and my photos have improved tremendously as a result of taking his Introduction to Photography class. Mr Rosenstiel takes a very complicated subject and makes it easier to understand. This was my first class on photography so everything was new to me and overwhelming. He teaches at a comfortable pace and enjoys sharing his knowledge with his students. I highly highly highly recommend his Introduction to Photography class to anyone with a new camera that would like to go beyond the AUTO setting and learn how to take better photos.

Just after 4 lessons with Bruce, I am blown away with how much I have learned. He explains things throughly and even doesn't mind explaining something again, if you didn't quite catch on the first time. He is concerned with designing the lesson around exactly what YOU want to learn. He answered all my questions I had from composition of photos to any additional equipment I was wanting to purchase. I would definitely recommend him to anyone wanting to learn more about photography and how to use your camera. I even plan on taking additional lessons very soon because I just want to learn so much more!

I just finished taking classes with Bruce. He was very helpful, patient and knowledgeable. I am a beginner and he definitely gave me the confidence to take my pictures without using the auto setting. I would take more classes from him in the future.

I've taken group and private lessons with Bruce and he is an excellent and knowledgeable teacher who makes learning fun. He will not only help you learn how to use your camera, but will challenge your creativity as well, helping you create beautiful and interesting photographs. I took two classes from Bruce and learned a lot. While we covered all the basics, Bruce also made sure we spent time with our cameras applying what we learned. He worked with us individually and as a group to made sure we understood and challenged us to experiment and push our capabilities. His classes are fun and very worthwhile for people interested in learning about photography.

I took a few lessons from Bruce last year, and the lessons really helped my photography. I was a beginner photographer -- my philosophy used to be to just purchase the best camera I could afford and just take pictures on "Auto/P." After the lessons, I was able to truly improve my pictures by actually moving off "Auto/P." And, I take pictures much faster now. Bruce was extremely patient -- definitely worth attending a class (or two.)
