A. If you want to rank high in the new Google environment, you can't just throw anything out on the web. You have to push quality content or you will suffer a drop in the rankings. Don't go with the cheapest copywriter - go with the best value. Find one that will provide great content but still not break the bank.
A. The secret to getting your customers' attention is to NOT focus on your features. You have to focus on the benefits. You may here this a lot but what it really boils down to is this: What's in it for them? Let the customer know what your product or service will do for them versus throwing a bunch of jargon-filled descriptions of what you offer. It works!
A. This is tricky because there are many writers out there who can most likely do a great job. But for the most part, what you really want to know is whether or not you feel comfortable working with this person or not. You don't need to get personal with them, but you might want to know what type of person they are. What is their preferred method of communication? This is a great way to find out if you're compatible or not. If you are comfortable with phone conversations or in-person discussions, but the potential professional you're dealing with is more into communicating through email, it may not be a great fit. First understand what you're needing in an on-going relationship and that will help you determine what you can live with or not.
