Don't fall for the "drive-thru" tax preparation services. They may portray themselves as Professional but they do not hire professionals to prepare your taxes. They send a person to a few-hour tax course, give them a certificate, and call them "tax professionals". Always get your taxes prepared by a true tax professional. A company who will take the time to really look at all your possible deductions and know all current tax laws. If you walk in, answer a few question, then walk out with your tax return then you know you are not getting your money's worth. It is not about how fast you get your taxes prepared; it's about how well they are prepared.
