Introduction: Mr. Brashear's legal career started with a tour aboard the U.S.S. Philippine Sea (CG58). While aboard this U.S. Naval vessel, he defended the U.S. while visiting and learning the cultural values of many other countries such as Germany, Greece, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Spain and Sweden. Mr. Brashear then had the pleasure of working with the Navy Legal Service Office Southeast in Jacksonville, Florida, where he processed claim under the Federal Tort Claims Act. He was stationed as well with the Trial Service Office Southeast while in Jacksonville, where he was an elite member of their prosecution team. This team prosecuted a myriad of cases including, but not limited to, arson, assault, drug manufacturing, drug possession, drug trafficking, embezzlement, murder, rape, sexual assault and theft. Mr. Brashear also went on to serve three years with the legal assistance and criminal defense teams at Naval Legal Service Office Central in Gulfport, Mississippi. Mr. Brashear is currently licensed to practice law by the Supreme Court of Texas. Mr. Brashear's practice areas include business litigation, business transactions, civil litigation, construction, corporate, criminal defense, family, personal injury, real estate, and commercial law.
