Question and answer

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. The secret to being a good entertainer is to know what music to play when. Mixing up the old with the new, fast and slow rythyms, Broadway and movie themes, crossing international borders to include different cultures and including songs that engage all generations.
Music is a universal language and a top artist finds the common ground that appeals to the whole audience.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. Piano players are a dime a dozen but few are actual entertainers that can engage and entertain audiences both large and small. Thanks to my vast repertoire of memorized music I can maintain attention and keep people entertained for long periods of time.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Seeing people's spirits uplifted because of the music I play.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. People always ask how I can remember the 2,000 songs I play without music. I tell them my mind is programmed to remember because I've played them so often.

Another question I get asked alot is: How I can possibly play and talk at the same time? I answer that it's easy because the notes are automatic for me. However I have yet to master the art of walking and chewing gum.
