A. It is very important to hire a technician setup a computer properly due to the cat and mouse games that have to be played to fight the ongoing battle agianst Viruses.
Good Techs will provide you with the information needed to do such battles and set it up for you..

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. When installing any type of "antiware:....it's a good idea to rename the location of the installed folders and write protect them!

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Ask for references and create conversations that will answer your questions about the technician.... This is a good way to see if the two of you see eye to eye!

A. The customers that we get to visit. The weird hours! The day to day challenges that keep us on our toes!

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. One time I arrived at a customers house....her complaints were the mouse was really choppy and didn't know why...well come to find out the reason was....This elderly lady thought the mouse belonged on the floor like a foot peddle! lol
I'm proud to admit that currently she is posting stuff on ebay and craigslist! WOW!

    Back in 1999 I was be just getting out of College with a MIS degree looking for my first computer job.
