FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
All pricing is listed on my website. Please feel free to ask me for a price that you don't see listed. Deposit of $50-$100 is needed to hold time and date.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
A majority of my clients are through referrals or social media and emails. I prefer talking over the phone to get a feel of what you need for your special day or event. I want to know all the details from what your jewelry looks like to your dress, and then ask about your personal style of hair and make up. My job is like girl time for me. I try my best to give you an honest opinion and ultimately I am here to execute your vision.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I attended Royal Beauty Careers in 2005 for aesthetics to learn more about make up. I was only taught enough to pass my state board exam and had to teach myself through trial and error about real world make up. Through modeling I was able to utilize this skill and ultimately land several paying jobs with local photographers as their primary make up artist. In 2010 a fellow make up artist introduced me to her boss that owned an on location make up company. She taught me how to airbrush using the Dinair equipment and how to do bridal up dos. Shortly after I met another local artist that wanted me to work under his company. Through that opportunity I did learn a lot about the bridal industry and bridal make up. We were asked several times to assist at local Dinair certification classes and work along side Dina herself. I have also done a lot of work with local photographers for boudoir, senior portraits, Pin Up/Retro styled shoots, fitness, print, and tv work. Over the years I have perfected and still continue to work hard on my craft. I have enjoyed seeing myself grow into the make up artist I am today.
