Introduction: Unlike other retail jewelry stores, we are wholesale jewelry manufacturers that specialize in custom design. We manufacture everything we sell. There is no middle man! Custom designing my client's engagement rings, saving them thousands of dollars, and seeing the smile on their face when they tell me how happy they are with the quality of my craftsmanship. I brought a rough design of a custom pendant to Daniel at Orion and he stated that he could work with it. He made a few suggestions regarding metals and texture, but did not try to change the original design at all. I was trying to have two pendants made (for my wife and myself) for Christmas. I think that I began the process with him in mid-late November and stated that as long as I had my wife's by Christmas it would be OK. As you can imagine, any reputable Jewelry Shop is absolutely swamped during the Christmas/Hanukkah time. Every time I dropped by to see updates on the pendants, the shop was busy but they always made time and did not make me feel rushed. As promised, my wife's pendant was ready on Christmas Eve. I picked it up and was so proud of what I was going to be putting under the tree that night. Daniel does a high quality job with honesty and integrity. Go to Orion if you want to have a custom piece made. Any time someone catches a glimpse of our pendants, we get compliments.

I am GIA Graduate Gemologist, and part of the local Alumni chapter. We often have continuing education courses and meetings to stay up on the latest in the jewelry industry.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
We are a third generation family owned and operated business. Educating my clients and helping them make the correct jewelry purchase is the main reason I decided to join this business.
