I'm a handyman of more than 15 years' experience in all aspects of home repairs and remodel. I worked as a lead technician for large, well-known handyman companies in Houston such as Mr. Handyman, Handyman Matters, and others. That tells you that I'm a professional, qualified craftsman, who is established in Houston.

I have my own company right now and open to work on any and all projects that you may have whether repairs or remodeling inside or outside. My company is small with small overhead expenses, so I can pass the saving on to you. I will do the same quality job that you would get from these other big companies for a fraction of the price!

    I called Matt regarding a repair I needed on my front door. He was here the next day...did a great job at a very fair price. And very pleasant to deal with. Will definitely use him again when needed and will recomend him to my neighbors and friends. Who says you can't find great people on Craigslist??     Matt did an excellent job removing and replacing some rotten wood from my door frame. He was friendly and was willing to talk to me as he did the job. I will definitely be using him again in my future projects.

    Last year, I had the good fortune to discover Swan Home remodel over the internet and it has been the best thing for my home.
    Matt is professional, follows through on promises, and is honest about his work. I have an older condo in need of much attention, from small repairs to major upgrades, and after working with several contractors over the past few years, I really appreciate Matt's responsiveness, experience, and integrity. Prices are fair and I know what to expect. He most recently repaired a huge ceiling leak that covered 3 rooms. The work was completed neatly and on time, to which I can also add that he's just such a nice guy-- a necessity for anyone working inside my home.

    I had them work on various tasks like wood flooring and a ceiling fan replacement and was very satisfied with the service and prices. They were upfront about everything, so I knew where I stood. They will even take care of miscellaneous issues related to the job. For instance, I just asked them about taking care of some siding, but was concerned about getting rid of a beehive first. They told me they can find a bee removal service and coordinate the details so I don't have to! Honest service, great prices, and very helpful; I highly recommend them.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I DO like what I do. I really like the challenge in it. It was my choice years ago to do this and build my own business, rather than working in an office and being in front of a computer monitor.
By nature, I'm a perfectionist. I do pay attention to details even when I don't know that I'm doing it !
On my time off, I do remodel my house, or work on my car if I wanted to do something different.

My customers are usually very happy with the results I give them.
I'm always more than happy to provide new customers with references if needed.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I like working with people very much, the mental and physical challenge in what I do. Making home owners happy and appreciating the value that I add to their homes makes me feel very satisfied.

A. What other stuff do you do?
- I almost do everything as a qualified Handyman and a remodeler.

How long have you been doing this?
- Almost 16 years hands on experience and managing jobs and people as well.

Do you like what you do?
- Yes, actually in the most part I do very much. It was my choice to work physically _at least when I was younger :) _ rather than using my degree, and being stuck in front of a computer all day long.
