FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
If I told you how many photography articles, discussions, technique articles and videos I partake in you might wonder how I have time to ever leave the house. I'm always looking for ways to better myself. Natural need to know everything.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
When I was a little girl I always had a camera in my hand. I started small, photographing Barbie on her adventures and eventually moved up into army figurines. Time passed and I found myself learning to shoot weddings, excitedly shaking my head at my teacher when they asked if I wanted to learn to be a wedding photographer. I have been hard at it since I was sixteen, and at age 30 I'm still at it. I'm one of the lucky ones that figured out what I wanted to do at a young age. I worked hard, ate my share of Ramen noodles and boiled eggs... Fourteen years later I am a very happy and well fed photographer who still thinks how lucky she is every day to do what she does.
