My objective is to make all of your beauty needs come true, for special events, weddings, or a night on the town.

I'm a professionally LA trained makeup artist with experience in TV, bridal, and runway. I'm known for clean, natural beauty and for having the ability to create looks with speed and quality.

You will find that my talent is very versatile, from working behind scenes on run-way, video shoots, and fashion shoots, as well as bridal and wedding parties.

I offer makeup Lessons for $40.00 an hour, with this ad per client. Classes are equipped with a lesson plan, quality makeup ad brushes to practice with. All I need is for you to show up. I'll do the rest!

Services I offer are the following:

    My experience at Lash-A Makeup Studio was wonderful. Lakishia was very professional and capable of performing the job. She did my make-up for my birthday party last month and I have to admit I was flawless. She knows proper Face care and all the up to date techniques. She's also good with matching your skin tones so that your make up is naturally beautiful. I have recommended her to alot of my friends, co-workers and family members. And I will definetly use her again whether it's for a church function, birthday party, wedding, photoshoots or just simply going out on the town. She get 6 stars from me......♥

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. My common jobs are Bridal, Natural and Fashion makeup. I have an extensive resume so I've been fortunate to do a little bit of it all. I'm still learning and loving the field more and more everyday.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I'm very versatile and able to do Natural Beauty, Fashion Shoots as well as Bridal makeup.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I'm my own boss! I love making women look and feel beautiful.

A. How long have I been in business? 3 years
Can I do a Smokey Eye? I'm a pro at that one..ha!

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. My journey of becoming a makeup artist is my story. I left my hometown (Houston, TX) just to pursue my dream which was an unbelievable experience. I met so many celebrity makeup artist and worked with some top photographers.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. I want my clients to know that I show professionalism on ever casting, wedding or shoot. My creative mind will provide that look to make people feel better about themselves visually and mentally. I am well organized and keep an inspiration of what each client expect before my arrival.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I decided to pursue my lifelong dream of becoming a professional makeup artist. I migrated to LA and successfully conquered that dream. Currently, I'm back in Houston and the owner of a classy and private makeup studio. (Lash-A Makeup Studio)

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. The 2009 Ximena Fashion Shoot...A gorgeous line based out of LA and I was apart of the Fashion Week as well.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. Yes, I have LA and Miami connections that allow me to train monthly. In addition, my Pro status from some of the top makeup companies such as MAC, Smashbox, Stila, NARS, and Luminess Air keeps me well connected. I plan to be apart of the NY Fashion Week 2011 which is a huge milestone for Lash-A Makeup Studio.

A. What are my goals for the next 3 years? I plan for my studio to be the next innovative makeup studio to be reckoned with. Lash-A Studio will be known for a wide range of clients....from Celebrity status to the average career woman providing excellent service while doing gorgeous looks.
