I never danced. Except when 60 people are up there and then it was dark so I faked whatever else everyone was doing. I took one lesson with Steve and then the next day I two stepped and polka'd at Big Tex. A lady complimented me on my steps. She said she could tell I was doing all correctly and that is why she asked me to dance. Steve's lessons are easy to understand for us formerly non dancers. His instructions and willingness to help are above par. We even have socials and meals for those that want additional activities. Realistically, I didn't do all the turns and spins immediately but I at least knew that only more practice would resolve it. All is fun and great exercise and now I wonder why I waited so long? Why are you waiting?

No one is going to be on Dancing With The Stars after 1 lesson. Learning is not easy at times. Steve teaches theory and basic steps first rather then asking you to memorize complicated step patterns. The moves come to you in short time much more naturally this way. He fills his class with humor and stories which puts your fears to ease. Passion and love of dancing drives him above and beyond.

Dancing transforms one from a social misfit to a social butterfly. Even the most basic dancing skills gives one confidence to ask a stranger for the next dance. I made some wonderful friends from Steve's groups and so grateful I found his class.

I am so glad I found Steve! He is so encouraging, patient, and FUN! I found him online, and originally chose him because he taught so close to where I lived and his prices were so reasonable. Who knew I'd be getting the best dance instructor in town?! He's a great dancer, really knows his stuff, and does an excellent job communicating clearly about how to dance. That was my first time to take dance lessons, and I felt a little anxious going into it. But Steve put me at ease from the first moment I met him. I took a private lesson that day and went dancing for the first time that same night and had a BLAST - he's that good! Now I'm addicted to dancing and can dance very comfortably with lots of different people when I go out on the weekend. I've learned two-step, polka, and Gulf Coast swing (SO fun!!). I hope to learn West Coast swing, as well.

Steve, as an instructor, is very professional, yet has a way of putting you at ease so that you can focus on what he is teaching you. I can't think of a single negative comment that I could make, he is that good! I have learned more than I ever thought I would with just a few lessons. I have referred several friends to him and will continue to do so. I don't know why I waited so long to get started because I am having a blast and getting awesome exercise! Thanks Steve!!

Steve is a wonderful dance instructor. I realize how
much he taught me in just a short while when I go to
some of these other dance lessons. Have not been
able to go recently due to work but look forward to
resuming those lessons with Steve shortly

I have always felt I was unteachable on the dance floor, with 2 left feet. My heart burned to know to dance but every attempt left me hopeless, until I met Steve. His way of teaching is so simplified, he took me from basic to advanced in no time and within weeks i felt comfortable to dance the night away regardless of my partner's ability to lead. Steve has given me such an unbelievalbe confidence back in myself that i now feel more balanced and in step with rhythm than ever before. Plus I lost TONS of weight which was a added blessing I never counted on. So now I'm doing what i love and looking great doing it. What a win, win for me. :)

Steve is a very good instructor and passionate about dancing. We started lessons with him in March '09. If you have the desire to learn, he will get you where you want to go. My wife and I go out and enjoy dancing two-step, Polka, and West coast swing at least once per week. I never danced before last year, and my only regret was not taking lessons sooner. It has been a lot of fun.

I have been attending classes with Steve for Two-step, polka and West Coast Swing. I have never learned so much, so quickly in any other class I've taken. Steve is meticulous in teaching the basics, which makes learning the more advanced steps easier and faster to learn. He makes the classes fun and makes sure everyone is participating and getting their money's worth. I would recommend him to anyone and have!
