After years of travel, touring the kitchens of great restaurants throughout the Far East and sampling the food, Chef Demetrius came back with a fresh perspective of how exciting his own food could be. These experiences advanced further his culinary skill level by teaching him how to use unique ingredients to balance his food's flavors. He also obtained a great understanding of the relationship between art, precision, and their significance in his creations. Combining the classic clean and fresh flavors of California cuisine, with influences both Asian and Latin, Chef Demetrius has made his own profile of New American Cuisine, forging throughout Houston's highest quality kitchens his natural talents, under the tutelage of some of the city's best chefs, with stops at Hotel Alden's 17, Timpano, the nationally renowned Reef and Hotel Derek's award-winning Valentino/Vin Bar. Chef Demetrius has graced the Houston's elite's kitchens, including its most notable athletes, finest lawyers and doctors. Chef Demetrius remains poised to unleash directly to you an incredible wave of exciting new food. Feeling it is much more rewarding to deliver his creations to you on a more intimate level, Chef Demetrius has left the professional kitchen to share his gift in yours.
