I have been helping people lose weight and tone up for 5 yrs now. I am experienced in circuit and weight training to, keep you light and lean.

I know it can get boring doing the same routine, so I try to keep the workouts changing, and I will keep you moving. Since you're constantly moving, you will burn more calories, and the workout will be over faster than you expect.

I am also experienced in speed, agility, balance and stretching techniques that will keep you in control of your body, and feeling healthier than ever!

When you sign up with me, you also get free yoga and body combat classes at my gym on your days off, at no charge! During training sessions, I like to add 10 minutes of core and boxing routines, to stay confident and in control.

My name is Chad, and I am a personal trainer in the uptown/galleria area. My company is Achieve Fitness Houston. I also play soccer. I'm trying to expand my business, and help other people and players get back into shape. For the people who are in shape, I am looking forward to making them faster and even more endured.

I participated and completed the tryouts for Houston Dynamo Trials in 2008 and 2009. I have trained at Plex with trainers for 3 years. During the trials and the Plex, I learned and experienced what it takes to be the best, and get to the goals we were all looking for. I also came in first place (two consecutive years) out of over 500 soccer players in the speed and agility, and endurance drills and suicide races; that was at the age of 29 and 30.

I have been training all types of people, and helping them accomplish their goals. Whether it's weight loss, toning, endurance, speed or agility, we can get it done.

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Weightloss and Toning. And some sports related people as well.

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Its your money your spending on me to help you. Its my business and credibility on the line if you dont show results. Expect to be pushed and challenged on a weekly and daily basis on eating habits and exercise routines.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I wish everyone knew its a huge commitment to get into when you get personal training. Just stick with proper food portions while your training and you will get there so much easier.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I change up my cross fit and weight training exercises all the time. You are already stressed from work and traffic, so why be stressed from the same old routine. I use agility and endurance training fused with resistance and strength training to maximize your results in 30 minutes. Hour sessions are available depending on your fitness level.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I get to help motivate people to live healthier lives and to get back into shape. Sitting down at work all day and then going home and sitting down on the couch. Or leaning over a desk or a stove is just terrible on the back. I will work with each individual so they can create a stronger and more flexible core. This will decrease the risk of injuries, headaches and stress.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How much do i need to diet? A:You do need to watch what you eat. The big trick is the portion of what your eating. MAKE SMALLER PORTIONS. Snack twice a day on something nutritious.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. Absolutly

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. I wish customers who are trying to lose weight knew that every client in that boat feel exactly the same about feeling stupid in a workout or how cheating on your diet with a cookie even once can cause you to not to lose that pound for the week you are trying to lose. Everyone thinks they look stupid in a workout because its not natural to them. Even the most experienced person looks the same way, they are just more confident because they have gotten over that hump already. We can only watch you in the gym and instruct you on what to eat. When yo leave the gym its up to you to have self control and pay attention to your diet.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I have seen alot of injuries with friends and family and even a few myself. So i decided to learn how to help prevent most of the day to day accidental injuries from ordinary day to day jobs and tasks.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. One of my clients just lost 12 lbs in 5 weeks. He never stops moving.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. I always have a book or magazine in my hand picking up on new techniques or the next quirky trend.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. There is no complicated pricing system for my one on one or group training. Four easy options.

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Get your own personal trainer so you will know or remember what it feels like to be pushed. Most personal trainers havent had a trainer of there own. You will get first hand experience and can appreciate the pressure and goals all that much more.

Q. What is your greatest strength?

A. I believe in everyone! A trainer doesnt have to yell at you to push you. Nor does a trainer need to get upset or lack luster if you cant do an exercise. Thats what setting goals are for. If you cant do it then you set a goal to get that exercise completed.
