Website still under construction, so to speak, however it's coming along nicely. I never knew how much work went in to creating a website, until now. Check out what I've done so far, www.forward-motion-fitness.com. – Jul 24, 2011 at 5:25 pm

Question and answer
Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.
A. Many of times, the men and women who inquire about my services are looking to lose weight, and simply be fit. But lately, I have been working with clients who are getting married in the next 6 months or so, and really want to look incredible for their big day. I also work with those who are coming off a serious injury and want to start building their strength up again.
Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Be prepared for major changes, but not threatening changes. Be aware of the effort it will take to achieve your goals, and don't be afraid to struggle a bit from time to time. Just like in anything we are trying for the first time, it's not always easy. All and all, be prepared to take a turn for the BEST!
Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I am passionate about personal training, helping others, and working with my clients to achieve their goals. I speak from experience, and now what it takes to lose weight, gain muscle, and maintain hard earned results. Recently, I have added meal prep to my services offered. This involves me in my client's kitchen actually preparing their meals for that week. I cook it, measure it, and pack it. It's very convenient for the client, and not to mention, a great way to develop a solid relationship with them.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Helping others achieve their goals, working one on one and developing a strong client-trainer relationship! There is no better feeling than that!
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. How much do you charge? My prices averages out to $45 per session but I design programs, and don't train by single sessions.
Do you have a website or page? Yes, www.forward-motion-fitness.com
Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?
A. How much effort and preparation goes into designing a client's program. The days of a trainer simply being a glorified rep counter, are over.
Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?
A. About 8 years ago, I came across some very unflattering pictures of me while at the beach. The overweight guy that I saw was not something I wanted to be for another second. I quickly began making changes to improve myself. Shortly after I achieved my goal weight, I began researching local personal trainer certification courses I could take. The process of transforming my body wasn't difficult at all, in fact, I enjoyed all the changes and didn't seem to stall. It basically uncovered my passion for fitness and nutrition, so I put 2 and 2 together and decided I'd give personal training a whirl. I have been hooked since.
Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.
A. All my clients are special to me, and I am very proud of all of them. To me there are no goals that are too small or too big. Most recently, a couple of my clients had never been on a meal plan or had a training regimen, so just adhering to my plans was a big deal. From watching my clients struggle with pre-workout stretches to eventually running circles around circuit training and intervals, makes me very proud to be in this line of work. I think having a client tell me that they are wearing sz 2 jeans for the first time since high school, or that they have to buy new clothes because the stuff they have, keeps falling off, is probably one of the best things I've heard.
