Ray did a very nice job repainting my old dog bank. The dog bank is mad of some sort plaster and is about seventy years old. My girlfriend and I are reminded daily when we see the dog bank in our spare room. I will send a photo on another post. Thanks again Ray for the quality work, fair price with a good turn around time.

Our mural project was massive, and we gave little instruction. Ray tackled our mural head on and gave us more than we ever expected. You can tell he loves what he does, and it shows in the detail of his work. I can't wait to have him back again to do a few more spaces for us.

I went to Ray with a concept of what I wanted as a design on the hood liner of my C7 Corvette and after talking for a few minutes I knew he picked up on my idea. I left him to pull together what we talked about and when I came back I was absolutely thrilled at the results. Since picking up the end product I have been proud to show off my "new" hood liner and the responses have been nothing but great. Everyone loves the Snoopy and Red Baron. What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
The pricing for what we do varies on the elevation, wall texture surface, complexity of the design, amount of preparatory work to be done, location-distance from our studio. In most cases, we have to travel to a client's home or business, to determine the scope of the work. Once we have this information we can provide price quote. This allows us to be fair to both parties: us the service provider, and the client.
What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Yes, maybe not formally, but informally I have numerous decorative painting books and magazines that I review and get ideas.
How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started out in the the arts field and I adopted the airbrush as my main medium. One time while doing an finger nail airbrush demonstration for I-Natural cosmetics a cosmetic chain in the Northeast, the local TV news station came and put us on the TV news, on the demonstration. After that I got calls to paints hand-paint airbrush murals in some local hair/beauty salons. It started from there, since I have specialized in large works like murals.
