FAQs
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I am continually attending educational seminars & taking part in online webinars. As with dogs, keeping my brain active via learning is important to me and for everyone of us. Learning from other's experiences, trying different training techniques can only help me grow as a trainer & benefit the dogs and helping their owners achieve their training goal.
- What types of customers have you worked with?
Thankfully, most people call me when their pet is young so that they can start their obedience training early. By doing this, they are giving their dogs the tools they need to live in our human world and avoiding behavior problems. It is so much easier to teach a dog the RIGHT things to do in the first place rather than trying to modify bad behaviors that have already been learned. Although don't despair - if your dog has already learned some bad manners, it is never too late to change their existing bad behaviors. With time, practice and patience you can have a well behaved, loving pet.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
