- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I was previously an RN, they say once an RN always an RN... maybe... I like to establish a life relationship with my clients, something that as an RN in a hospital is impossible. Helping patients in a Skilled Nursing (geriatrics) floor showed me the importance of the power of touch and massage, specifically post surgical, something that it is not usually done in a hospital but should be.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Massage Therapists are easily found, massage therapists with tenure are not... Our therapists range from 5 to 17 years experience, and their training varies from relaxing put you to sleep swedish to deep tissue neuromuscular re-education... all in a very professional and relaxing setting.
