Introduction: Come out and enjoy one of the greatest dog sports in the world, Dog Agility. I have classes starting at the Foundation Level, and going up to the more advanced and experienced dog and handler. I competed as a member of the 2004 USA IFCS Gold Medal World Team. I have been teaching agility for 20 years. I continue my dog training education by attending seminars and clinics taught by the sports elite competitors and trainers I use a little training from everyone's system, and developed my own style of handling. I only use positive reinforcement training using treats, toys, and praise. My customers enjoy the laid back classes, and quickly become friends with others in the same class. I allow you to train for fun or competition, or for both. Agility is such a fun sport, where you meet so many nice people by competing and attending trials nearby. The Metroplex has a huge number of trials each year, so you don't even have to travel out of town to get to a competition. I also hold Pet Obedience, CGC, and beginning Rally Obedience classes.

My Aussie, Tucker, and I started agility training with Linda about 8 years ago. We worked on some basic obedience, as well as, agility. You have to know Tucker to understand the nicknames he earned - butthead and zip-loc! I was encouraged by a fellow student to try agility trialing with Tucker. We have been trialing mainly in ASCA and CPE for about 5-6 years and earning some titles along the way. I started training my rescue Aussie, Kay-cee, with Linda also. Kay-cee has come a long way from the dog reactive girlie to achieving titles in ASCA and CPE. We also took our Aussie puppies, Cutter and Westen, to Linda's Agility Pre-K class and the AKC S.T.A.R. Puppy class to learn manners and basic obedience. The boys will continue classes in agility, hopefully, this Fall. Linda has the patience of a saint to put up with Tucker's antics. She is wonderful with the puppies. Linda enjoys teaching others the skills needed for basic obedience and for agility in a fun and relaxed atmosphere.

My daughter trained our sheltie for agility trials at Gold Medal. Linda makes the classes fun for dogs and people, and is really good at encouraging youngsters. (Human and canine!) She also showed us how to enter trials, and helped us get started. I highly recommend Linda and Gold Medal for any type of dog training you're interested in learning.

Linda offers a dog and people-friendly atmosphere with professional and fun training. My dog and I took Linda's Canine Good Citizen class and enjoyed meeting other people, other dogs, and we learned too! Thanks for helping us through our challenges - and we passed our test too!

I've been going to Gold Medal for years and I keep coming back! Linda is great to work with and she is great with the dogs! She always offers advice and training methods and options that will work for you and your dog. No dog learns the same way and Linda recognizes this and will help you and your dog succeed and have fun doing it!
