FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I have a flexible pricing system, depending on the type of legal matter and sometimes the facts of the case. Please call for details.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
Every year all licensed attorneys are required to meet minimum Continuing Legal Education (CLE) requirements. In Texas, attorneys are required to fulfill a set number of hours of accredited legal education for both legal studies and courses in ethics.or professional responsibility. The types of CLE accepted are diverse and can include personal study (some), seminars, training sessions, speaking events, online training, etc. I meet these requirements every year, and I plan on continuing my required legal education every year until I retire.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
Looking back, I remember that before I decided to become a lawyer, I had to fight to win custody of my oldest child. I was very young and an infantryman in the Army at the time, but the circumstances demanded maturity, and this new kind of fight gave my life even greater meaning and purpose. In that position many years ago, a caring and thoughtful attorney was there to counsel and represent me, and working together with her made a huge and fulfilling difference in my life!
