Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Our most common types of jobs are residential remodels. We also do new construction and commercial jobs.

We have complete the following types of jobs:

Residential:
Pool decks, patios, entryways, walkways, garage floors, outdoor kitchens, indoor kitchens, bathrooms, laundry rooms, driveways, fireplaces, living rooms.

Commercial projects:
Country club pool decks, schools, churches, restaurant entryways, restaurant floors, hotel pool decks, museums, antique stores, bars.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Our product looks like tile, stone or the pattern you choose but is usually much less expensive than the "real thing".
Our product is also less maintenance and slip-resistant.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. It is good to have an idea of what kind of look you may want and the square footage if possible but it is not necessary. When we come to do your estimate, we will measure the area and provide different ideas for your space.

If you are extending an area by adding concrete, we can help with that too.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We have 15 years experience and have completed thousands of projects with great customer satisfaction.

We work with each customer to determine the specific needs for the space and recommend the appropriate application. We are not into "high pressure sales" and we provide a variety of products for your price point.

The owner, Tracey DeBusk, does all the estimates and oversees every project to ensure complete customer satisfaction and if there is a problem, it is corrected in a timely manner.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. It's very satisfying to take a part of someone's home that may be an eyesore and change it into a highlight of the home.

A. Q. Where can you use this product?
A. Anywhere you have concrete! Indoors or outdoors, our product is tough enough to handle any kind of traffic you have. We can also go over existing tile.

Q. What colors and patterns are available?
A. We can provide just about any color or pattern you want.

Q. How long does this product last?
A. It should last indefinitely. Depending on the traffic, you can re-seal or re-color it as needed.

Q. How long does the application take?
A. Depending on the size of the job, anywhere from 1-5 days.

Q. How thick is the application?
A. It is anywhere from 1/4"- 3/8"

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Our business is family owned and operated so our customers receive great service and superior workmanship.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. We have been in this business for about 15 years. When we started, it was a fairly new process and we saw the potential to be on the ground floor of the industry.

Over the years, we have been able to grow and progress with the industry. We have encountered just about every scenario there is and have completed thousands of projects.

We have been able to assess what works and what doesn't and we have created and altered different applications to give our customers the best job possible.

We do not skimp on our products. We use the best bonding agents, grout, etc. to ensure that the product does not come up and lasts.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. The decorative concrete business is always producing cutting edge ideas and technology. The products are better than ever and the only limits to design are your imagination.

A couple of things that are fairly new are:

1. Glow in the dark coatings which absorb the sunlight during the day and then glow at night. This is great for walkways and areas that need extra lighting at night.

2. Stencil designs are very popular especially on interior stain applications. Custom stencils with logos and persian rug stencils are absolutely beautiful and provide that personalized accent for your space.
