Dr. G is the best piano instructor in Katy. My daughter has been taking piano at CRC since she was 3. Dr. G makes her and myself feel very comfortable around the piano. He makes learning fun and easy. My daughter absolutely loves going to her lessons. I believe it is because Dr. G makes it a fun learning environment. He and his wife are very professional. I would recommend CRC to everyone.

A. Passion for music and teaching, with the ultimate goal of having the student "surpass" the instructor! Every instructor derives great pleasure from passing on the knowledge that they have accumulated over many years of perfecting their technique and knowledge of their instrument(s).
A. Interaction with young students, and watching them grow and develop as musicians! That "lightbulb" moment, that every serious student encounters, is priceless!
A. Perhaps the most frequent question that I get asked is, what is the best instrument to start their child on? The answer, while simple, is actually twofold. First, if the child is truly passionate about a particular instrument, that instrument will probably be best to start them on, as they already have that great interest in becoming better on that instrument. However, absent the above, my recommendation is the piano. With the piano, they learn both treble and bass clefs, experience immediate sound gratification (it may take a while to develop a nice sound on a wind or string instrument), and strength is normally not an issue. The theory that they learn on the piano can then be used to help them learn most other instruments!
