The project was to fix the door frame, I was quoted for 150$ total labor and parts, at the end he asked for 260$ saying he spent it on parts, which I can see on receipt. I paid 260$, I wouldn’t rely on his estimates and wouldn’t hire him again.

Customer said door trim needed replaced, I quoted 150 and showed up and all the molding/casing AND trim needed replaced. I spent 200 on the molding and trim, and only charged $60 for labor. And before even proceeding I called the customer and stated what needed to be done wasn't just trim before I went and picked the material up. When asking someone to quote something online, it's probably best to ask them to quote the right job.
