I have thirty years of experience and local references. Just call me for an estimate, or text me!

I'm really good at what I do, but using e-mail is not on my urgent to-do list. I certainly appreciate a good old-fashioned phone call to explain your needs; then, I'll come take a look, and give you a very reasonable price to make it happen.

You'll be thrilled with my work because I really care enough to do a great job.

Thanks for looking! ~ Doug

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make absolutely certain that the provider will work on your job, and your job only, before moving on to another customer. This is the problem with so many builders, trades people. They can really leave you hanging for FAR TOO LONG. I like one job at a time, so I can really focus on the task at hand.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. I can actually save you money by having me do numerous aspects of your job, rather than subbing out for this and that. A guy who is multi-skilled is usually best for saving a lot of money on the project.

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. Get very clear on the time table for completion. Don't have unrealistic expectations for what can be accomplished in that amount of time, but be certain that all things are discussed and written in the contract. Both parties can amend the contract as the job proceeds to present unknown challenges.
