A. How much does an "average cleaning" cost?

It varies because of the type of elements we are removing.
No two cleanings are alike.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. The cleaning of headstones from the civil war was a very interesting project for us. The history from behind the built up dirt over the years was able to be seen for the modern day visitor again.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. Pressure washing is not as easy as one might think.
Knowledge of the chemicals needed and the right application is a must in order to avoid damage.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. I witnessed and was intrigued at some contractors hanging from a skyscaper cleaning the exterior.
Not limited to skyscraper cleaning, the industry has a vast area of services at every point on the compass.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. At ABC we are proud of all of our restorations and cleanings. We have restored decks from the 1970's to a brand new finish.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. A good cleaning technician will stay on top of all current industry trends if he plans to stay in the ever growing and changing market.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

I am the inventor of The Breeze Brush stain application system. A D.I.Y. tool for applying stain to decks.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. Recent project consisted of 500 sq. ft. of decking to be maintainence stained. With proper and regularly scheduled maintainence this project took two hours to complete.

A. Our rate matirx stays in tune with the current trends of not only our industry, but, the fluctuating economy as well.
The days of the 99.00 house wash are over. Buyer beware if you find a exterior cleaning contractor for 99.00.

A. The industry is saturated with start ups. Plan your budget, get insured, get trained, get certified. Stand out above the rest by any means. Those that don't plan properly will not last the first year.

A. Scheduling during the peak of the season is always a task. That is why I always suggest annual scheduled cleanings at the same time as the last service.
