A. How many engines do you do? Do you build your own engines

A. make, model, year. Engine size, how many miles

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I`m the the only shop in the Austin area that specializes in auto/marine engine repairs. I have over 34 years experience in engine repairs, I`ve installed over 2000 engines in the Austin area since 1987.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. I love working on machines. I like bringing life to a machine.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. How much does it cost? Is the biggest question. Answer... Not as much as you think and it`s way cheaper than buying an other vehicle.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. A lot of people think they know what they need, they will tell me what they want done, the problem is that they will be wrong most of the time. Not a whole lot of difference between mechanics either. Most mechanics are learning, they don`t know yet. Like a DR. in residency.

A. I do good work at a very fair price.

A. I like it

A. Valve jobs/ headgaskets, complete rebuilds custom car building

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. I restored a 1986 pontiac fiero custom, it has won 2 first place trophies this year at car shows

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Car are becoming harder& harder to repair. So maintenance is really important

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. I`m building a 1974 datsun 240Z. It`s a prostreet car. I`ve been working on it for 2years now. hope to have done to show sometime in 2011. cost is around $20,000.00
