About Deer Canyon Stables

Deer Canyon Stables is a full-care equine and horse boarding facility located in Leander, Texas.

We have year-round horsemanship programs, as well as riding lessons for all ages, and we are a horse-ride away from Lake Travis in the beautiful Texas Hill Country.

Our customers include folks from Austin, Cedar Park, Leander, Lago Vista, and Jonestown areas.

Our facility provides round pens, stalls, paddocks, a tack room, an arena, and plenty of country trails and sprawling acres outside the property for horseback riding for your enjoyment in a natural environment.

A. Always check the facility cleanliness. See if the owners not just management lives on property. Quality of hay and grain.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. How long have the trainers been in the business? What is the different styles of horsemanship is taught at this stable? What kind of environment are the horses in when they are not in lessons?

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. What kind of feeding program do they have for healthy, senior, and/or injuried horses. Do they have a trainer.

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Make sure all veterinary records are up to date. That the horses has a negative Coggins test. Whats best for your horse, a stall or paddock?

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. The facility is very clean. We care for everyone's horse as if they were our own. Family atmosphere and outstanding customer service

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. We love to watch the bond between owner and horse form and strengthen. Watching troubled horse that come here from other places return to their natural happy status. Knowing that the horses that are cared for hear are happy, healthy, and very loved
