- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do pricing may be viewed at this website. Since Thumbtack charges me fees for leads all packages except weddings are 10% more through Thumbtack to cover their fees. matthewchambersphotography.com/2015pricing.pdf
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Austin is a very progressive town, many of my first contacts are by email, phone, or text message via the phone, Facebook, etc. Typically my first thing is to get to understand exactly what my customer needs, when, and what their expectations are. After I understand that then if they would like a face to face we set it up, otherwise my contract can be downloaded, signed and photographed to be sent back to me with the deposit. After we have the contract in hand my focus becomes to isolate the exact style the client wants, shoot, and get post processing completed as soon as possible!
- What types of customers have you worked with?
I've worked with customers that range from priests to prostitutes and everywhere in between! I've had the pleasure of working with a number of actors and actresses, politicians, and most of all average folks that just want good photography at a reasonable rate!
