Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I have over 25 years experience teaching and performing. I use a series of proven books that act as a guide and enable the student to learn at his or her own pace. Also, because I offer live online guitar lessons, this gives the student a lot of options and presents the element of convienence. I do have students that come to my location, but it's all about having choices.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Anybody that has ever been involved in teaching can answer this question. Learning guitar can be quite challenging. There is a reason it is not offered in elementary school curriculum where as band and orchestra are. There is no better feeling than seeing a student develop skills on guitar, and to know they did so with your help. It's a life time skill they will have.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. What age do you start a child at? Generally 10 and up. But it can vary. He or she needs to have the hand size and dexterity to be able to excute. Young children are probably better off starting with a simpler instrument and working their way up to guitar.
