Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?
A. I truly love being a makeup artist more so now than when I started some 17 yrs ago ... and I think it shows in my work and being able to put my client or talent at ease. My work is constantly changing from working on photo shoots to print ad's and commercials and I enjoy the diversity.
Q. What do you like most about your job?
A. Its always a delight to see the smile on my clients face at the end results ... and the hugs are nice too !! Everyone's face is unique and I believe modern makeup should enhance and reveal your natural beauty for a fresh and flawless look.
Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?
A. The most common question that I get is what kind of makeup do you use or what is your favorite brand ??
My answer is that I use products that are of pro quality,that will wear all day with little to no touch up and vary depending on the type of job that I'm working on. Some products are brands that you would recognize, others not ... but they work for what I need.
Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?
A. I quit retail about 13 years ago, having worked with a great diversity of clients including Moms and their budding teen age daughters. I was contacted a 3 years ago by a young lady who was getting married and sought me out for her wedding makeup. Chelsea was the daughter of a wonderful client of mine and said that she remembered me and couldn't imagine anyone else doing her makeup for her wedding day !!
It really touched my heart that she had gone the extra mile to find me ... and she made a beautiful bride !!
Q. What is your greatest strength?
A. I think one of my greatest strengths is putting my clients at ease when I'm working with them ... because I'm a naturally calm, fun and easy going person to work with. With all my years of makeup experience I feel confident working with a variety of clients, from young lady's having their makeup done for proms and weddings, to working with seasoned news reporters.
