- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
I do have standard pricing for my makeup and hair services which are clearly displayed on my website ... whether you need services for a girls night out or you are the bride and her wedding party needing services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
Usually the client contacts us for makeup or hair services and we discuss the number of services needed and then I will give the client a price quote to see if it works with their budget.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
I started in the Department stores working behind the cosmetic counter helping my clients with their skin care and makeup needs. After many years as a business manager and eventually a regional makeup artist for various cosmetic lines, I decided that I really loved working my clients, but I wanted to do it my way. I wanted to offer luxury makeup and hair services without the pressure to purchase products, so I could truly show my ladies how to look their very best using a variety of products ... not just one makeup line.
