Q1'12 - I hired Videoboy Productions to produce two short videos for Internet use only. I expected a professional finished, edited product, but the production quality exceeded my expectations. Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. Customer's should know a little bit about video quality and the difference in HD equipment including small chip cameras, three chip cameras, large single sensor cameras. Remember that better equipment usually comes with a higher price but the difference in quality is usually worth the extra cash.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. It is important to know that someone with a lot of knowledge and mediocre gear can produce a better product than someone with really good gear and very little video production knowledge.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. What are you shooting with? How many cameras and angles will you provide? Is editing and DVD authoring included? How do you capture sound? How can you make this video unique and appealing?
