Introduction: Do you know someone who is hurting? It is understandable why people who are hurting and experiencing problems in life might need a spiritual life coach. Do you know someone who is successful? What does success mean to you? Some believe that success is owning more stuff than your neighbor, having a significant other, being married, or being able to drink more than the rest! Some people think that individuals who are successful are lucky, they were born with a great talent, or they were handed the success on a silver platter. Does success just happen or do certain people have certain characteristics that help them develop into successful people, physically, spiritually, and mentally? Why do all successful people in life have coaches? Some have coaches for mechanical, spiritual, and financial needs and in some cases, successful people surround themselves with people who will re-affirm any action that they participate in. Successful individuals ensure their continued progress towards their goals through the use of outside experts. How can a major league ball player expect to perform day in and day out without being fine tuned occasionally by a specialist? All humans fall. Recently, one of the most popular professional athletes publicly announced his problem and reached out for professional help. Had he had a spiritual life coach, he could have perhaps had the strength to stay away from such temptation. It is easier to stay away from temptation than to get out of it! No one walks through life alone if they have Jesus Christ in their life. No one can walk through life empty and not having anyone to count on or reach out to. When the Holy Spirit is the foundation of an individual's life, they are in good hands. Human temptation is around everyone 24/7. Surrounding yourself with the right people is a key element in gaining success here on earth. Mostly all successful people have certain characteristics. They repeat these positive characteristics over and over again. Their inner strength (faith) is the foundation of who they are! As the bible tells us, "if you sow the same seeds, you will reap the same rewards." Success is no accident. In athletics, winning the batting title, the Gold Glove award, or having a MVP season does not just happen. In life, success should be measured by how many individuals you lift up, how many friends you support, and how many strangers you reach out to. Success is not about how much money a person makes! Why do some players rise to the occasion - bottom of the ninth with bases loaded? Why do some people shine in the darkest hour? Why do some players meet the challenges when 30 seconds are left on the clock and the team must score from 30 yards away? Why do some people gain strength through adversity and become stronger? These individuals pick themselves up when knocked down and move in the direction God is leading them! A person's limits or restrictions are usually caused through their belief in themselves. Once an individual has their faith in Jesus Christ and believes their destiny is in God’s hands, there can be no limits or restrictions. Knowing and understanding yourself and seeing yourself as God sees you is the true secret to living a successful life. If you see yourself as a 200 hitter and you're happy when you get two hits out of ten trips to the plate, then you will be satisfied when you're wrong or out eight out of ten times. With that attitude, how far will you go? Where will you be when you're 30, 40, 50 or 80? A spiritual life coach can help you to unleash your potential. Through faith, persistence, and hard work, all things are possible. So, let go of your inner control and allow God to drive your car!
