As stated above, my most common types of jobs are usually web site design for small, local, family run businesses.
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Be extremely careful and weary of a business or an "average joe" that will promise you a website for just a couple hundred bucks. In the web development world, quite often, the statement "what you pay for is what you get" is true. On the same hand, don't go spending several thousand dollars immediately to the first company that promises you everything. Research their previous websites, how they rank on Google, etc.
