A. Cedar, board on board fences are the most popular fences right now. And we top it off with an attrative trim package

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Do your homework. There are numerous fence builers and many don't have the integrity they should. Make any contractor show proof of what they say they will do.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Something that listed all the fence builders and ranked them based on complaints, length of time in business, etc

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. There isn't really alot you need to have prepared, but anything you have does help. We do all the measurements but the more you know about what you want helps to breakdown prices.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. We stand behind our integridy and workmanship. Cutting corners is not in our vocabulary and we stand behind everything we do. Every project comes with a guarantee and a warranty to back it up. Cedar fences come with 10 year warranty. So many fence builder come and go, but we can stand proud of our success. We have never been reported to consumer reports for anything....ever.

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Building something that someone will enjoy and talk about makes us and me personnaly very proud. Construction has always been in my blood but I've taken a preference to fences. A fence is something that adds beauty to a home, not to mention value.

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. * How fast can we start building fence and long does it take? We are usually about two weeks out from starting new projects and length of time ranges from 3 to 4 days ususally.
* What if I have an HOA? Customers must get all fence projects approved by their HOA. Its usually very simple and we can help filling out paper work necessary for filing request.
* Do fences require city permits? Yes, and we take care of this to make it very simple.
* What quality of posts and wood do we use? This alot to explain, but we go over this in great detail when we make our first visit.

Q. Do you have a favorite story from your work?

A. I know it sounds corny, but all my projects and customers are memorable in some way to me.

Q. What do you wish customers knew about you or your profession?

A. The hardest part of this profession is who to trust. I wish it was easier to explain or show someone my integridy level and past background easier.

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. Have always enjoyed outdoor projects and stared doing small projects for friends and family and it grew from there.

Q. Tell us about a recent job you did that you are particularly proud of.

A. A recent project I am very proud of is a 250 foot fence with a stone wall and stone pillars between each fence section. It came out beautifully and the customer loved it.

Q. Do you do any sort of continuing education to stay up on the latest developments in your field?

A. There isn't really any education process but I keep up myself with new fence products and processes.

Q. What are the latest developments in your field? Are there any exciting things coming in the next few years or decade that will change your line of business?

A. Nothing major that I can think of but there is a new fence post that came out a couple years ago that offers the benefit of the steel post and also allows it be hidden easier so you don't see it.

Q. Describe your most recent project, what it involved, how much it cost, and how long it took.

A. A recent fence we did incorporated stone pillars, walls, wooden fence and wrought iron gates. This was an expansive project but came out very nice. Entire project took 2 weeks to complete.

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. Its not necessarially complicated but it entails many prices based on many factors of how a fence is built. The fence itself is prices by the linear foot and add-on features priced separately. Add-on's can be incorporated to fence to enhance its look

Q. If you were advising someone who wanted to get into your profession, what would you suggest?

A. Be smart...know your competitors and know how they do business.
