GTS Photography is bringing your vision to life.

The quieter, less noticeable lessons in fashion photography is what interests George Torres the most.

George Torres' photographs are most successful when they not only show beauty, but evoke a sense of awe, mystery, and suspense. GTS Photography gives you a feeling of witnessing the beauty of an uncharted part of the world.

George offers spectacular visual continuity by implementing dynamic high-tech lighting. With every shoot, photographic genius is extracted from the imagination of the client. These images are never captured easily. It takes the passion of an artist and the tenacity of a visionary to bring a client's image to life with photography.

George Torres Senior (GTS) is seeking ways to redeem, motivate, and heal with photography in the commercial and fashion industry.

"I want to thank all of the wonderful people who continue to take time to view and comment on my work. I am both honored and flattered to meet each and every person who has made a connection with my photographs. You can also find us on Facebook to read all my reviews."

Had so much fun! The wind was really crazy during the shoot and made things a little bit challenging, but it actually made for some really interesting pictures. I would definitely like to work with George again, and highly recommend him to anyone looking for a photographer in the Dallas area.

George Torres is an amazingly artistic photographer that has an uncanny ability for being able to capture characteristics that're unique to each and every model through his beautiful photography. I've never thought about modeling before until I recieved a phone call from my friend, whom was in direct contact with George. Nervous, but anxious to see how the photoshoot would turn out I went wonderin...g what to expect. At first, I was bound by fear when standing in front of the camera. George played music I enjoyed and helped me open up using his friendly charisma. Before I knew it, I had trouble keeping a straight face because he had me laughing so much. I had lots of fun during this once in a lifetime experience! With each click of the camera, a piece of art materialized before our eyes. Unlike other photographers, he didn't photoshop me into unrecognition. The experience I had is one I'll never forget and will always remember fondly. I hope others will choose to make those same memories with GTS Photography!

He made me feel 100% comfortable the entire shoot. He had great vision and so many ideas as to where he wanted to shoot to go and he was very very professional. Even though it was my first shoot, he made me feel like I had done this a thousand times. I would definitely recommend him to anyone looking for professional photo sessions.

Question and answer

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Taking a picture is EASY.

Did you know you have access to a professional photographer? George Torres Senior is your photographer. He is here to grow with you and your community. Photographer since 1988 (32 years experience). The vision and the ability to understand clients is the hardest part of photography. Taking a picture is EASY. Bring your vision to life is what we are known for. What is your vision? How would you want to appear on a photograph? You can tell us here or contact us.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Today people sometimes hire photographers with no experience looking to save a buck. Also to avoid further expenses they ask for a CD, so they can print at home or at a local pharmacy or convenience store.

The most horrible thing a photographer can do is not finish the work. Having a client print their own image is a open ended scenario and an open door to horrible prints and then the photographer could really an up with horrible reviews.

If photography was easy, everyone would be doing it. Just like any other trade or profession. There is education and experience involved. When a client prints there own work without the experience of professionally printing images. They really could end up with prints with really big problems. Image could end up with bad:

Colored incorrections
Exposure
White balance
Incorrect cropping if needed.

A chef who followed my work once notice me at his restaurant and said to me. "Your images are amazing, what type of camera do you use?" I was late, so I smile politely and sat at my table because I was meeting a client and we already made eye contact. So I had to move swiftly. At the end of dinner I said good by to my client. I walked up the chef and I ask told him dinner was fantastic then I ask him what type of stove did he use.

Just like any other trade or profession. There is education, experience and passion involved.

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I think that my work has its own flavor and style since I like to mix traditional photography processes with newer vision of my clients’. My style doesn't necessarily mean that it's superior in a general sense, but definitely adds a unique excellence to the images that I produce for my clients. I love facial expressions that are deeply connected to my client’s thoughts. I have a way of creating new facial expression that even my clients have not seen themselves this way. When it comes to photographing my clients. I love images that are sometimes soft and gentle. I love wild and unpredictable colorcasts from cross-processed while I am working after hours in postproduction. I love to add several different effects so that my clients can choose which ones they like the most. In addition to my experience with photography, I also can create digital images that have a sharper and more refined look, something that most people are used to seeing from other photographers. I like to give people choices. Every job is customized to the clients' likes and needs, and my wide range of skills allows me to give them a larger palette to choose from. Showing client what I can do by providing webpages full of my work is a good starting point for them to use for inspiration to start something new with me, so we can create a new assignment.
