- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
Recently we were working with a customer who had filed a hail claim on his house. The adjuster paid for some damage to the coil on his A/C unit but it was only to comb out the damage. We argued the case that the coil needed to be replaced and that they no longer manufactured the part and need to replace the whole unit. Luckily the insurance carrier sided with the homeowner and we won our case!
- What advice would you give a customer looking to hire a provider in your area of work?
Make sure that the contractor you decide to business with is well qualified to do the work. Not only must the contractor be insured, but also make sure that they are local and not one of the people we call "Storm Chasers." Storm Chasers will build you roof and a lot of times skimp on materials, and not take pride in their work because they are just looking to get paid and move on to the next storm. If they move on to the next city, they will not be willing to fix any problems that may arise.
