Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?
A. My advice as an owner of the dealership and a fan of the industry is that you should work on building a relationship with your local dealer, whether it be us or our competition.
Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?
A. Many customers feel that the dealership is the final say in warranty work, but we are just the middle man between you the customer and the manufacturer. We pass on your info to the OEM, so make friends with the service writer and you will find that he will work harder for you to get problems fixed under warranty.
Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
A. A customer should either ask for references, talk to the company staff to ascertain their competency, or look at sites like Google places to see what other customers have had to say about the business.
