FAQs
- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
No. Since I do not accept insurance (and most ins companies will not cover coaching), I try to work with my clients on payment amounts. Affordability should not be a barrier to services.
- What is your typical process for working with a new customer?
The first meeting is about defining what the coaching relationship is and is not. It's about establishing the expectations of coaching, what the client would like to accomplish and how we intend to get their. It is also a chance to develop rapport; just like any relationship, we have to determine whether or not our personalities and styles are suitable for the other.
- What education and/or training do you have that relates to your work?
I have a Masters in Human Services, specializing in Marriage and Family Therapy, My BS is in Psychology. I am a registered psychotherapist in the State of Colorado. I have applied for Licensure as an Addictions Therapist in the State of Texas. I have 14 years in Social Services (from prevention, to therapy, community mental health to Inpatient psychiatric).
