- What should the customer know about your pricing (e.g., discounts, fees)?
It varies. Consulting fee is separate from the actual bid for the job. I am good judge in figuring approximately how long it will take to do the project . Materials and labor is broken down in the estimate then totalled up. Usually 1/2 or better is the down payment and completion payment is expected within 1 week of completed job's approval.
- How did you get started doing this type of work?
It was in 1976 I was in the DECA program in High School. Love the services of working with personal improvements in space and home planning. Your environment should reflect your lifestyle and to surround yourself with the things you love and enjoy.
- Describe a recent project you are fond of. How long did it take?
I painted an exterior restaurant sign called Cuco's in North Richland Hills, TX. They loved the sign. The original sign was 20 years old and was in desperate need to replace. I stopped by and gave them a quote. And in two weeks after they paid the down payment I had the sign done.
