Three of my favorite things are gardening, nature and creating art. As a gardener, nature lover and as an artist, I love the colors, the smells, the peace and solitude that my time spent in nature, the garden and in front of a canvas, brings to me. As an artist, I endeavor to express my love of nature in each piece I create. Whether it is a butterfly alight atop a beautiful zinnia or a garden full of dazzling sunflowers as the morning rays touch them, I am drawn to capture them on canvas in my original art of nature and flowers.
My palate is vibrant rich colors, they are all around us. I just bring them together in an intense explosion of color in my work. When people look at my art, it should make them smile, glad to be alive to enjoy all the beauty that is around them. There is such brilliance and beauty in all of nature, my inspiration is endless, my canvas is always full, over the edge.
