4. Does the company offer a guarantee on its work product?

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. * Not all HVAC contractors are licensed and insured.
* Not all HVAC contractors tell customers the cost of the work to be performed up front.
* Warranties offered can be misleading (i.e. parts only covered, not labor)

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?
