Oh my! Where do I begin? Brian became apart of my life in early June 2013. Not only is he now my personal trainer but he is also my personal life friend as well. It amazes me how much Brian can push me and I accomplish every thing he asks me to do. If I had tried to do these things alone I would have given up months ago! Brian puts his confidence in me and makes me feel like I can conquer the world! I can do the same things that folks half my size are doing because I allow myself to believe so and that's because Brian has restored my self-confidence. Every session I have with him I get stronger, happier and healthier. I walk away from every session feeling amazing! You'd be crazy to pass up the opportunity to work with him. Brian's worth it and so are

Brian is consistent, creative, and reliable. I have lost 30 pounds with Brian and have not felt this good in a long time. He will push you, but in positive ways to meet your goals. You owe it to yourself to give him a try.

Growing up I was always athletic, and slim; however, things started to change in my 40’s. My lifestyle became more sedentary and the inches came on quickly. I was so consumed with life’s daily struggles, and didn’t make time for my personal heath. I knew something needed to change in order to gain control, and I was the only one responsible for making a change.

When I met with Brian, I was a little intimidated. I knew I wasn’t in the best of shape, and working out had become something I no longer made time for. Not only was I was shocked when he weighed me in, and took my measurements, I discovered I had high blood pressure. This was the wakeup call I needed.

When I began my journey with Brian, I started Advocare’s “24 Day Challenge” and worked out three times a week for 30 minutes. I was amazed by how disciplined I became with a great workout regime. After the 24 days, I was down 13 pounds and my blood pressure was also down to a normal level.

Brian is not like most personal trainers I have had in the past. He is motivating and takes a personal interest in helping each and every one of his clients reach their goals. Every workout is different. I love the challenge and never get bored. Today, I have so much more energy, and even exercise at home with my daughter. Glad I made the choice to make a change. I highly recommend Brian.

When my friend referred me to Brian, I was very hesitant because I've had bad experiences with personal trainers in the past. My previous trainers would either yell at me during workouts or not care at all and play on their phones.

From the initial consultation, Brian made me feel like I was his most important client! He took all of my measurements (not easy to let a guy do) and explained in detail what we needed to do to reach my weight loss goal. The next day he went with me to Market Street and spent an entire hour going through the grocery store and taught me what to buy and what to stay away from. He showed me that you can eat right on a budget too! He also printed out a list of foods to buy in the future so I would have a guide the next time I went by myself.

I work out with Brian 3 times a week for 30 minutes and he is less expensive than every other trainer at the big name gyms I've been to. He is also very flexible with time, which is great because I have a hectic schedule! He changes up the workouts so I'm never bored. Not only does he work me out with weights, he's shown me great exercises that just use my body weight.

In 6 months, I've dropped 75 pounds and 7 sizes! I still have more to lose, but I know I will get to my goal as long as I stay with Brian. He's so motivational, I feel like can do anything as long as I stick to his plan!

Question and answer

Q. Describe the most common types of jobs you do for your clients.

A. Weight loss for people who have never been athletic in their adult lives.

Athletic and sports specific training for athletes, police/firefighter physical tests, prepping for US Military physicals.

Learning proper exercise technique.

Motivation to commit to making themselves healthier

Learning proper nutrition. I accompany clients on one trip to the grocery store to understand what to buy and what to avoid.

Nutritional supplements to make sure you keep your lean muscle during weight loss.

Q. Describe three recent jobs you've completed.

A. 38 year old female client lost 75 pounds and 7 dress sizes!

69 year old female client now able to move without pain after 2 hip surgeries and a knee replacement!

40 year old client lost 50 pounds and ran a marathon!

29 year old client passed his Dallas Fire Department physical exam.

35 year old male client lost 63 pounds and went from a size 48 waist to a 36 waist!

28 year old young lady was 402 pounds, now 300 pounds in just 9 months and wants to lose 100 more!

24 year old client lost 26 pounds and met the physical requirements to join the US Marines!

Myself: was 487 pounds and a size 62 waist. Now 200 pounds and a size 34 waist!

Q. What advice do you have for a customer looking to hire a provider like you?

A. Make sure you are comfortable with your trainer. They must have your best interest at heart.

You should be the focus of attention.

You should understand why you are doing every aspect of your workout and nutrition plan.

You should be motivated, not talked down to.

I am working for you, not the other way around.

You have every right to ask any question you want, there are no stupid questions.

You should have a reachable goal to work towards.

Q. If you were a customer, what do you wish you knew about your trade? Any inside secrets to share?

A. Weight loss is 80% nutrition 20% exercise. Overall health, however, is 50/50.

You can't work out a bad diet!

Q. What questions should a consumer ask to hire the right service professional?

A. What is expected of me?

Are you flexible?

Do you promise more than you can deliver?

Q. What important information should buyers have thought through before seeking you out?

A. Just make sure you are committed. If you are committed, you will have success! Nobody is perfect. If you fall off the wagon, just make sure you haven't fallen so far you can't get back on!

Q. Why does your work stand out from others who do what you do?

A. I don't know a single trainer in the Dallas area who has been through the adversity in weight loss that I've been through. If anyone understands the struggle with weight, it's me. I was morbidly obese until the age of 38, when I decided to take control of my life. You owe it to yourself to quit the cycle of self abuse and treat you like the special person you are! Then go out an help change others!

Q. What do you like most about your job?

A. Without question, it's helping others! I may have lost 300 pounds, but it means NOTHING if you don't see how it can help you! Use me for motivation and accountability!

Q. What questions do customers most commonly ask you? What's your answer?

A. Isn't this a luxury? How can I afford it or make the time to work out?

It's not a luxury if you have your priorities in order. Think about your food bill for eating out. Most people can afford my services by just limiting their eating out and junk food purchases with no problem!

I also go over a daily schedule with my clients to find time for their workout. All it takes is a little planning and commitment!

Q. How did you decide to get in your line of work?

A. After losing over 300 pounds, I decided to improve people's lives so they can feel as great as I do!

Everyone deserves to feel good about themselves!

Q. If you have a complicated pricing system for your service, please give all the details here.

A. My prices vary depending on what you need. It is cheaper per session to pay for a month. You may also pay a session at a time!

1 hour sessions range between $40 and $65

I also offer 30 minute sessions. Prices range from $25 to $35.

If you have another person who will work out with you, it will be cheaper for each person. No more than 2 people at a time.

I am available at any time! As long as I'm not scheduled with another client, I'm available!

Q. What is your greatest strength?

A. If you are trying to lose weight, I've been there! After losing 300 pounds, I understand how hard it is to change. My knowledge can from living it. I want to pass that on to you!
